Just a Few More Days

Guess what the rave's about?!

 It's the HUNGER GAMES month! And there's only a few days left before the premiere of this movie based on the best-selling trilogy of Suzanne Collins. I am tots excited to be donning my Hunger Games shirt to the movies this March 23. Of course, a lot of my friends are raving about the movie too. If the movie sounds new to you, it's time to befriend Mr. Google and go look for it :)

Well, for starters, its a story about a girl named Katniss Evardeen from District 12 who is forced to join the annual Hunger Games of the Capitol in place for her younger sister Primrose. The game is participated by 12 Districts represented by one male and one female tribute. The tributes are forced to fight to the death in a televised show since only one tribute must win. Much like Survivor, only deadlier. Here you'll also meet Katniss' fellow tribute from District 12, Peeta Mellark, aka The Boy with The Bread, since he's a baker's son. Peeta endeavors to protect and save Katniss since he has feelings for her. Oh how so sweeeet! :')

 Liam, Jennifer and JOSH :')

The movie stars Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss (you've seen her in X-Men First Class as Mystique), Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark (Journey 2 The Center of the Earth, also Vanessa Hudgen's short-term bf) and of course, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne (Miley Cyrus' current boyfi, you've seen him in Cyrus' music vid --When I Look At You). Gary Ross is chosen director for the movie. And I have yet to see how the movie plays out.

I have come to know the movie and the books through its trailer on ETC and it caught my attention. So I searched for it on the net and stumbled upon Collin's novels. I read the first page and was instantly hooked! I read it last year so imagine the agony of the long wait till the movie is released :( But anyhow, I've survived the months of wait and all THG fans can breathe easy once the movie is out. Some stills of the movie came out and so far I like what I'm seeing. Can't wait to see the scenes when Peeta and Katniss are finally alone in that cave. HAHA :D

I just can't help but share to you some pretty cool stuff I found from the site, dreamalittlemore.com, they offer tees with different and unique graphics and I totally drooled over their Hunger Games Collection! There are lots of designs to choose from! They retail the shirts for a reasonable amount of Php350.00 but wait! They also ship internationally aside from the Phils.
