I firmly believe that every woman has the right to look fabulous in every way possible. I say this because I think that a woman must reward herself by being beautiful not only in the inside but also and most importantly outside! First impressions last as they say and there is a ring of truth in it, no matter how much we deny it. So just imagine if you're not looking your best on one of the most important moments of your life - it must have ruined your day!
When I was younger, I really didn't take note of how I looked because I was too concentrated on my academics, I went to a school that really focused on academics more than anything else (you get kicked out if you don't reach a certain level). I was so thin and shapeless but I didn't care, I thought that was normal. So, looking good was at the bottom of my list and besides I was too young to even get hooked with fashion! My fascination with clothes and fashion came in during my first year in college when I started joining pageants and participating in fashion shows. We'd always have this photo shoot sessions and we'd have to look good to get more chances of winning the crown or to endear us to the audience. Because of this, I started to really look at myself in the mirror and saw that I wasn't doing any good to my body! Like I said, I didn't have those curves and I started envying other models who were richly blessed with those.
I mentioned how I was very thin, that's why I started to eat more but I wasn't exercising at all! I always make myself believe that I'm too busy, I don't have a gym partner and the list goes on. And guess what happens? Well, basically I have that slight bulge in the tummy area which I have to deal with every day since I turned 20. I am 22 now and still old habits die hard.
I know I seriously need to think about ways on how to remedy this or even just reduce my tummy bulge. And yes, most of my friends advice me to do the following things - go to the gym or exercise, eat lots of healthy food, detox and etc. And yes, that takes too much time but I also seriously think they're worth it. However, I found a much speedier way of addressing this issue - thank God for Wacoal!
I have learned that with the right type of undergarments, you can easily create a slim and really smooth silhouette! Let's take my tummy bulge for an instance, I greatly believe that I can achieve that curvy shape by using Wacoal's Lecien Lingerie Collection for Women - both the top and long girdle. The top from this collection can easily tuck my tummy bulge since its coverage include the tummy, sides and the back! Just perfect for creating that smooth silhoutte I totally aspire! It will really help improve your look without that needless tummy bulge (which ruins everything, even your mood!). These undergarments will help a lot especially when I use tight-fitting clothes and aside from that, this will aid me a lot as a fashion blogger and local TV host since I am always posing for pictures to be posted on my blog and on television! Mind you, cameras make you appear like you've gained 10 pounds when in fact you weigh less than that!

Another piece I would love to have from Wacoal is their MIPS Seamless Underwear! Don't you just hate it when panty lines make an indecent appearance when wearing your favorite tight-fit jeans and shorts? Well, count me in! Seamless underwear in nude colors makes living your fashionable life a breeze minus those peeking panty lines. Basically, you'll feel young and free with the right undergarments and for this let's just say I'm thankful for Wacoal. :)
Is that a Science High School too? Haha. Although a gym partner would be nice, it also helps if you get up early before the sun is out then go on a run. I used to do that with my dog because dawn gives a head start before vehicles emit fumes and the weather is cool. Wacoal is a great brand and I don't mind shelling out some bucks because I know I always get my money's worth. Every lady deserves good fitting underwear! =)
ReplyDeletehahaha.. actually i am not wearing those stuffs, however i am very much aware of it especially with the brand wacoal because i usually saw my mama wearing it most specially after she gave birth to my youngest brother to hide those extra baggage off of her tummy.
ReplyDeleteI suddenly became curious as to where you attended High School. But anyway, I think I should also, like, follow your example? Because I'm not really a "body-conscious" person and I use studies as an excuse, though it's undeniable that a lot of people in my school are, well, fashionistas and all that.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same situation. I have also joined pageants and fashion shows and I have done photoshoots. But I also envy other models too because I have a tummy bulge. I can't even wear a two piece swimsuit because I am not confident with my body. I wish I could get one on the picture. Hahaha ! :) Please do visit and follow my blog. http://hellokittylover14.blogspot.com/ thanks :)
ReplyDeletewow! very nice man kai.. i love to have one.. para naman matago ko ang tummy bulge ko.. after giving birth to my baby, nag diet agad ako para lumiit ang tummy, pero kulang parin.. very nice tlg and also the seamless underwear..
ReplyDeletei would love to have that piece!
ReplyDeleteWe have the same problems! These items from Wacoal are so helpful! This is a very concise write-up!
ReplyDeleteSeamless undies are amazing! I have 3 of them and men just can't resist but look at them as if I'm wearing t-back - so embarrasing.
ReplyDeleteactually, I am a bit conscious about my body but I don't really mind so much about it :D
ReplyDeleteME too! I've been very embarassed of my big tummy bulge, but just because I have bulge like that doesn't mean, I would go under the knife like some do. There are still ways to prevent it or conceal it without undergoing procedures. Just like using these proper undergarments. Thanks for the post BTW! It's very helpful. :)
ReplyDeleteI need that! Thanks for showing it
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try these garments. Although I'm not that conscious with my body figure, I'm sure these would do wonders to my shape.
ReplyDeleteThis a great! I won't find this out if I haven't read this article from you. might as well try this and see if it truly helps. I hope it will! =D
ReplyDeleteNice post. I'd like to try those undergarments too :D Thanks for the cool post.
ReplyDeletei stopped being conscious about my body especially on what other people say about me. i dont care if i am fat. as long as i am comfortable with it. i had a traumatic experience with a particular slimming coffee. because of that, i learned how to watch what i eat and just be contented with my body. but with these undergarments.. i wouldnt mind trying it :)
ReplyDeletethanks! cool post! interesting!
ReplyDeleteI would like to have this one. :)
ReplyDeleteI love it... wow
ReplyDeletereally cool!

ReplyDeleteahaha!me too,i also have a problem with my tummy when i enter college but i learned to exercise and diet and be conscious:)
ReplyDeletemust have ganda nmn want it also..
ReplyDeleteI'm very frustrated with my tummy too coz I tend to sit in front of my laptop right after eating meal. And the result is having "bilbil", I always want to go to gym to lose it but there's no one to go with, going to the gym alone will not do any good to me. May I know how much that girdle is?
ReplyDeleteI hate my puson. I don't know how to make it smaller though. Haha.
ReplyDeleteI love your post!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it. Ganda ng post mo. :)
ReplyDeleteayus itong post mo na ito ah!

ReplyDeleteI have one the seamless underwear from triump... it is very useful...
ReplyDeletei am skinny from college till now. how i wish to gain more weight even if my husband says ,i'm okay,i don't need more weight.
ReplyDeleteI was skinny too until college. Then began putting on weight once I hit my 20s. Good to know Wacoal and Jockey's now have undergarments like these.
ReplyDeleteIf everybody would be a bit self conscious then we would have a 'beautiful' world.
ReplyDeleteAll you need is a dose of confidence
ReplyDeletedoes corset count?hehe
ReplyDeleteSeamless underwear, is definitely a must-have for ladies. :)
ReplyDeletei think i need the black set, if it will make me look thinner ;)
ReplyDeleteseamless underwear is really really a must-have for every closet!
ReplyDeleteand it's weird kasi sometimes i have a tendency to be really body conscious , pero the next day, hindi na. :o
Seamless underwears are must-haves for me when going to the office. I have 2 one-piece shapewears for special occasions that I need to slip onto tight dresses. They hide my extra-extra bulges from having 3 kids... LOL! And I'd love to have one from Wacoal. It's a great brand for undergarments. =)
ReplyDeletei salute you ladies for all the things you explore
ReplyDeletewell, aside from this secret undergarment, another best way to look fit is to discipline yourself. Once you have discipline, you can diet and exercise just fine....
ReplyDeleteI love wacoal, our best friend! ;)
ReplyDeleteAha! Finally found the perfect anniversary gift for my girl. Thanks for this.
ReplyDeletewow it helps maybe hide some bulge but I feel uneasy when I wear one
ReplyDeletei should start being body conscious :(

ReplyDeleteLOL, when you get to be my age, you stop caring if you have a tummy bulge or not. Girdles can kill ya! hahahaha
ReplyDeleteI'm not body conscious either. Thank for this!
ReplyDeleteThe problem with body huggers such as this is the difficulty to remove them when you need to use the restroom. :p
ReplyDeleteI simply agree! With the things you put up in your body and the way you carry it, you will surely stand out!
ReplyDeleteI agree! I am a chubby girl way back before..and I belive that I am still now. You just have to love your own and be confident in who you are..
ReplyDeleteI think I really need that same corset. this will boost up my self confidence!
ReplyDeleteThis answered my prayer! ♥ Excited to become slim and sexy :'D
ReplyDeletei heard this Wacoal to one of my friend, she is currently using it. She told me to used this, but i dunno it will fit me... well i'll try to purchase one

ReplyDeletehi! We do have almost the same lifestyle when I was studying too back in my college life (but also at present, in law school). I am also conscious of everything, i.e., the food I eat, how and when I will exercise, etc. But, unlike me, you have successfully managed your body. COngrats for that. I will definitely follow your advices in your blog. Thanks.
