Did you miss reading beauty posts on my blog? I just noticed that I haven't been posting anything beauty-related for the past weeks that's why today I intend to post something relative to the topic at hand. However, we're not going to discuss any manufactured product reviews or the like. For now, I'd like to give you some tips for different skin concerns that women find interesting and useful. I, for one, would love to try out these concoctions (?) or mixtures. I found these on a Leon's Beauty Tips and Secrets and you might wanna give it a try.
First and foremost, the least denomination of all the tips here is nature's gift to humankind - HONEY. Everything used here is natural and can be easily found in the kitchen - cost efficient I say and delivers awesome results too!
For DRY SKIN.
I am guilty of this. I don't use lotion ever so often because it can feel icky and I just don't have the time. HAHA. You can always moisturize your skin (I'm starting to do this too) using honey and olive oil. Here's how:
Remember how you used to apply cucumber slices on your eye bags? Cucumber is a very effective skin brightener coupled with honey, you're sure to have a successful combo. Here's how to achieve bright skin:
Eek. Everyone has them - from childhood accidents, cuts and scrapes and even from acne. When you were a child it didn't matter to you how many scars you have but as you reach puberty you realize they're not trophies afterall but ugly reminders. HAHA :D So how to get rid of them? Here's what you can do:
You just hate seeing those acne on your face. Even a single zit worries you. But fret not, this might work for you.

- Mix one (1) teaspoon of honey with 1/3 teaspoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and apply. Rinse it off with lukewarm water after 15-20 minutes followed by a splash of cold water. You may do this everyday to achieve supple and soft skin.

- Grate a cube of fresh cucumber (pipino) and squeeze the juice. Mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of honey and apply it on your face. Rinse it off after 20 minutes.

- Pierce one Vitamin E gel caplet and mix it with a little bit of honey and apply it on the scars. Leave it on for 2 minutes and then rinse it off.

- Mix one (1) teaspoon of honey and two (2) drops of Tea Tree Oil and apply the solution to your face. Rinse it off with lukewarm water after 15-20 minutes followed by a splash of cold water. Do this twice a week to reduce acne.

I totally needed this! I'm having sever acne yet again.. and millia worse. -_- This happens whenever I'm stressed. I better get some honey to treat my acne.
ReplyDeleteHoney has such great healing properties! At the height of my breakout, I used oil made from beeswax every night until my spots were cured! Super effective :)
